The Pooler 5k

The Pooler 5K is a partnership between the First Presbyterian Church of Pooler, Daniel Defense and FCA Endurance to benefit the Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Stewart.

The 4th Annual Race is set for Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013

We will host a 5K race at 8:00 am. A Kids run will start at 7:45 am.

 The Pooler 5K has now expanded to become a part of Patriot Weekend in Pooler, a two day event to benefit our soldiers.  Details can be found at:

The Warrior Transition Unit

The Warrior Transition Unit is the place where wounded, injured, and ill soldiers go to heal.  Our goal is to raise finanical and moral support for those who are in the Unit at Ft. Stewart.  For more information on how these Units operate go here:  http://wtc.army.mil/about_us/wtu.html

Activities for Kids and Families at the Pooler 5K

We will have a wonderful amount of activities for kids of all ages. Our vendors come out and give out food. There is a massive inflatable obstical course and several Disney characters who come out to entertain.  The food and drinks are free. A local radio station will provide musical entertainment.

2012 Pooler 5K

In our third year we had over 600 runners and were able to donate a $20,000 check to the Warrior Transition Unit.2012 Start

 

 

 

 

 

 

2011 Pooler 5K

2011 raceIn our second year we were excited to see 600 runners turnout for the race and to donate a $16,000 check to the Warrior Transition Unit.

 

 

 

 

 

2010 Pooler 5K

2010 Events - Daniel Defense Pooler 5K CMP 09.11.2010-18In our inaugural race, we were thrilled to have over 300 runners and to give a $10.000 donation to the Warrior Transition Unit.
